Yesterday, one temperature screener in Cold Storage at The Rail Mall decided that it would be a good idea to sneakily take images of women and even posted them in a private WhatsApp group.

As you probably know, it didn’t end well: he was fired from his temporary job and a police report was made.

And in less than 24 hours, it turns out that NTUC FairPrice has to face the wrath of YP, too.

Screener Pranked Visitors & Posted in IG

A youngster thought that it would be fun to play a prank on visitors to an NTUC FairPrice outlet, and his antics were of course being caught on camera and posted on Instagram.

Because if it’s not on Instagram, it never happened.

In a series of Instagram stories that have been reposted by a Facebook page, it shows how the young adult was having fun when he was supposed to be doing his job.

In the first story, he was seen looking for a “chop” on a visitor with his handphone torchlight, and when he couldn’t find it, he burst into laughter.

In the second story, he was seen doing the same thing, this time with his mask off.

In the last story, he even asked a visitor to raise both hands.

Lest you can’t tell, no one’s laughing.

2 People Relieved of Duties

According to Mothership.sg, FairPrice has said that they were aware of the incident, and it had happened at the Orchard Grand Court outlet yesterday.

They have since relieved the duties of the temperature screener who’s a part-timer, and also the person who filmed the pranks.

A police report has also been made.

Now, if you’d realised, both the incidents happened in rather affluent areas: the Cold Storage incident happened in Upper Bukit Timah and this latest one happened in town.

Maybe rich kids just have nothing better to do since they’re all stuck at home? #justsaying
