And Singaporean’s are back to their favourite hobby – no, not complaining about trivialities online – shopping.

Make a GIANT Impression

Giant Malaysia has decided to launch a cross-border campaign to reward and incentivise Singaporeans to shop more – in both Malaysia and Singapore. With over RM100 spending in any Giant in Johor Bahru, shoppers will receive an SGD$10 voucher that can be used in any Giant Singapore store. 

However, there are some caveats – the offer is limited to the first 1000 customers in every Johor Giant store, and can only be redeemed by Singapore citizens and Singapore work permit holders.

Shoppers will also have to redeem their Giant Singapore voucher by the 31st of May, 2022. 

Connected by the Causeway and a Desire for Consumption

Mr Lee Yik Hun, SEA Marketing Director for Food, DFI Retail Group: “We have a unique position of being the only supermarket chain in both Malaysia and Singapore. The two countries are so connected in many ways, so why not in shopping too?

“So as Singaporeans head across to Johor to visit friends, relatives, we want to remind them that the Giant experience on either side of the Causeway is not one to be missed.”
