Those of you who read #FastFoodFriday will probably already know this, but Popeyes is selling a Fiery Cheesy Chicken.

And if our review is reliable… the chicken is pretty good. I mean, look at this right here:

An excerpt from the review (disclaimer: clicking and reading it might boost writer’s ego):

“With flowery, lemony notes from the Sze Chuan peppers and a moist juicy chicken, there isn’t anything much else I could ask for. It’s spicy, cheesy and crunchy without compromising on one another”

And you might be thinking: Woah, that does indeed look pretty good.

But the surprising thing is that reality looks better than the advertisement. You know what I’m talking about. Fast food never seems to be generous in their sauce giving.

Except this time.

I mean, the fiery cheesy sauce they generously put on that made me do this:

I’m too ashamed to show my own face. This isn’t actually me.

And as if there aren’t more reasons to try out the chicken, Popeyes is adding one more thing.

All you need to do, other than just buying and eating that Popeyes Fiery Cheesy Chicken (any set, combo or friendly feast) that you’re already sold on, is the following:

  1. Submit receipt, name of the outlet, last 4 digits of your NRIC, email and contact number to http://bit.ly/PPYxJapan
  2. Check Popeyes Facebook page for winners. Starting from 14th Jan, one winner of the S$288 Popeyes e-vouchers will be announced every Tues. The Grand Prize and runner up winners will be announced on 17th March 2020.

The giveaway period is from 7th Jan 2020 – 2nd March 2020, and will be available only for dine-in and takeaway. This means that lazy peeps like us who used the delivery will be out of luck here.
