While every business is trying to stay afloat during this pandemic, one business has some eggciting plan to expand into Singapore.

If you’ve been ‘egging’ for Eggslut to come to Singapore, your wish is granted: the egg-centric Los Angeles eatery, which was founded in 2010 as an egg sandwich truck in LA by Filipino-American Alvin Cailan and his cousin, is coming to Singapore.

Currently, it has 10 locations around the globe, and next year, it’d be 11.

Everything About Eggslut, the Egg-iest Sandwich Brand That’s Coming to S’pore in 2021

If you’re unfamiliar with the brand, then let the brand name do the talking: it’s basically a sandwich that’s spammed with eggs.

Back in 2010, when Cailan started the business, it was so popular that one would have to wait up to two hours just to have an egg-citing experience.

Since then, it has moved on to put egg on everything, and is now best known for its Fairfax burger, which comprises scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, spicy sriracha mayonnaise and a brioche bun.

If this sounds familiar, it’s almost like the scrambled egg burger by McDonald’s, which we believe is the next best thing after sliced bread.

The ham version. We can only see hand instead of ham.

Other than that, they’re known for their “Slut” dish, whereby coddled egg is topped on potato puree served with sliced baguette.

Despite COVID-19 causing eateries all over the world to go under and BKT owner having to post an online plea, Eggslut isn’t stopping its growth since its inception; just two weeks ago, the F&B chain opened a new outlet in the affluent Gangnam in South Korea, and one more new outlet in the UK.
