It’s that time of the year again, when everyone’s discussing about what they’d like to do with the windfall that they’re guaranteed to win during the $12 Million Hong Bao Toto Draw 2020.

Before that, let me clear the air.
There are two major Toto events every year: the first’s the New Year Draw, which falls on the new year (duh?). The prize for that is usually lower; this year, it happened on 3 January and the jackpot is a measly $5 million.
What can I do with $5 million, right?
The second is the Hong Bao Draw, which is the one you’re reading now. A draw that occurs after Chinese New Year, this attracts a lot more attention as the prize is much higher, at a whopping $12 million.
In both events, Singapore Pools would sell “packs” so as to earn more money so that it’d be more convenient for us.
This year’s Hong Bao Draw will occur on 7 February 2020 at 9:30pm.
And the sale of the packs?
They’d be sold from 3 February 2020.
$10, $20 and $228 Packs Available
From 3 February 2020, 6:10pm (beats me why they’ve such a specific timing), the $10 and $20 packs would be available in all outlets.
And if you feel this year is going to be the year, then you can opt for the $228 pack.
For this, you’d have to reserve it here and collect from selected outlets. You do not need to pay first, so go on and reserve it early because I don’t think there’d be a “while stock lasts” thingy.
Last Year’s Winners Were all From Yishun
Last year, Cai Shen Ye decided to give Yishun some karma points by having all the two big winners from Yishun.
One was bought from Northpoint City and the other from Junction 9.
Both of them have bought Quick Pick tickets.
Lest you somehow tremble when you see the word “QuickPick”, you might have been reminded about Singapore Pools’ glitches that could have potentially turned winners to losers.
But no worries; Singapore Pools have assured us that they’ve fixed the issue, so you can lose your money—I mean, you can bet with a peace of mind.
Last year’s winning numbers are 05, 08, 14, 16, 34, 39 and the additional number is 23.
While I can’t predict what numbers are coming out, I can predict that more people would be heading down to Yishun in the next few weeks.
