In a space-constrained city like Singapore, shops are getting more and more creative with their use of space and their choice of locations.
Well, Fish at AMK, a local prawning and fishing joint, is on the right track, opening their latest outlet right under the MRT tracks of Yio Chu Kang MRT station.
Because why waste that space, right?
Fish at AMK announced on their Facebook page that their new outlet will be opening on 2 November at 11am.
Here, customers will be able to fish, prawn, feed the fish and even get pampered at a fish spa.
(Of course, no claw machines to fish out fishes)
Fish at AMK promises customers a good time with their friends and family because the activities at their store are suitable for people of all ages.
The store also recently said on Facebook that the store is currently undergoing various tests to ensure that the water pumps are running smoothly before their opening.
There are also inspections being done to make sure the fish are kept healthy and that the area is safe and secure for customers. Like, I don’t know, ensuring that the train upstairs won’t fall on you?
Although the opening hours have not been released, if this outlet follows their other branches, it will be opened both at night and in the day.
Customers can also expect reasonable prices here, fishing will be $15 for the first hour, $25 for two hours, and $35 for three hours. Which sounds pretty wuhua compared to the other fishing places in the area.
As this shop is located just under the MRT tracks, it means it’s just a stone’s throw away from Yio Chu Kang MRT (literally) so expect a short one to two minutes walk to reach the store if you are heading there by train.
For people driving, don’t worry because there are also car parks nearby.
Remember to mark down the date, 2 November! We just can’t wait for this shop to offishally be opened!
Fish at AMK is currently offering special prizes for people who like their Facebook page, so if you haven’t, you should before 2 November, don’t say bojio hor!
