Thai Women Checked At Airport For Suspicious Bulges In Underwear, Turns Out To Be Bag Of Drugs

Ladies are really sensitive when it comes to what they wear.

Will this give me an unsightly bulge? Will that make me look fat? And by fat, I mean bulging where it’s not supposed to be.

While to guys, it’s just part and parcel of life, it can be the end of the world to some ladies out there.

Like the following ladies we’re going to talk about.

Suspicious Thai Ladies Arrive At Fukuoka Airport

In late September, seven Thai ladies landed at Fukuoka Airport in Japan.

The group of ladies were aged between twenty and fifty years old.

They were smart about it and had allegedly bought tickets from a tour guide, looking to blend into the crowd of sightseeing tourists.

And they would’ve gotten away with it too if not for the strange matching bulges of their underwears.

So the security officers moved in and found them trying to smuggle over 1kg worth of Ice into the country.

They Were Not The Masterminds

After questioning the ladies further, it was reported that this operation wasn’t their brainchild.

They were actually hired to bring it into the country for foreigners staying in Japan.

The police are hard at work trying to find out if a bigger drug syndicate is at work behind the scenes.

As for the seven ladies? They were, of course, arrested and currently awaiting trial.

Prison A Likely Outcome?

Similar to most Southeast Asian countries, Japan is stringent when it comes to their drug laws.

If you’re caught with drugs, it could land you with a 5-year jail term.

And if you’re caught smuggling drugs into the country, imprisonment seems to be inevitable too.

There was an incident where a woman was asked by her boyfriend to carry a bag into Japan.

The moment she passed the customs, she was arrested for Methamphetamine smuggling.

More People Caught Trying To Get Drugs Into Japan

It was reported that in the past two weeks, there is an increased number of Thai women caught by the Japanese police for trying to get drugs into the country.

And earlier this year, a Japanese man died on a flight from Bogota, the Columbian capital to Tokyo. He was found to have swallowed 246 packets of cocaine in his stomach and intestines.

He died of a drug overdose.
