The circuit breaker has completely changed life as we know it.
Since we can only leave our homes for essential trips, some people continue to break the rules because they can’t stand to be away from their friends, or can’t go another day without having some Cai Png at the coffee shop.
Then there are those who break the rules for inexplicably stupid reasons.
Youth Caught Dancing in Middle of S’pore Empty Roads Allegedly for TikTok
A video of a youth dancing in the middle of an empty road has made the rounds on social media.
The video, uploaded to the Facebook page All Singapore Stuff, shows a youth flashing a peace sign to the camera before dancing for around 8 seconds.
But why would he do such a thing?
Reader: Because he’s young and dumb?
Well, there’s that. But we’re forgetting that there’s a platform that encourages and celebrates the stupidity of the youth.
Tik Tok.
Just a few months ago, Tik Tok users came up with the Skull Breaker challenge, where you make a friend jump and kick their legs from behind mid-jump so they’d fall backwards.
Needless to say, it was incredibly dangerous and stupid. One girl reportedly ended up dying from it.

I could list numerous other stupid TikTok challenges, but the point here is that some people will do anything to go viral on Tik Tok.
This boy/manchild took another dancing video for Tik Tok, and this time it was in the middle of a huge junction.
You can watch the video here.
Obviously this is dangerous because a speeding car with a distracted driver might accidentally crash into him while he was doing his little dance.
Plus, he wasn’t wearing his mask over his nose.
But what’s even more upsetting than this and his blatant disregard for the circuit breaker rules is that his dancing wasn’t even that good.
I mean there are some cats and dogs out there with better moves.
Netizens’ Reactions
As you can imagine, netizens were not pleased with the young man’s actions.
Less Than a Month to Go
Everyone’s slowly going insane during this circuit breaker, but there’s less than a month to go until it ends.
We’ve already demonstrated that we can survive without McDonald’s and bubble tea, so abiding by the rules for another 20 days should be easy.
If you’re feeling cooped up inside your house, head out for some exercise, but do it alone.
And unless you’re a Chinese Lion dancer and it’s Chinese New year, I’d avoid dancing in the middle of the road for now.
