Lest you’ve lost count, today’s is the fourth day that the number of new COVID-19 cases in Singapore are at 4-digit.

The first was on 20 April 2020 with 1,426, next on 21 April 2020 with 1,111, and yesterday at 1,016.

Today’s at 1,037.

And as usual, most of the COVID-19 cases are workers from dormitories as the authorities ramp up testing in that cluster.

Today, 21 of the cases are Singaporeans or Singapore PRs.

That’s an increase from yesterday’s 15.

However, based on average number of cases and with yesterday’s number, the number of local community cases has decreased; from an average of 36 cases per day in the week before, to an average of 25 per day in the past week.

The number of unlinked cases in the community has decreased, from an average of 21 cases per day in the week before, to an average of 17 per day in the past week.

In total, Singapore now has 11,178 cases and 12 deaths: it was announced yesterday that an 84-year-old female Singapore has passed away due to complications from COVID-19 on 21 April 2020 night.

Worldwide, there are now 2.6 million confirmed cases and over 183k deaths.

Of the 2.6 million, over 784k have recovered.
