Teacher Starts Showing Interest After Becoming IG Friends

According to TNP, the 34-year-old male teacher started teaching the victim’s class in Jan 2017. Shortly after, the 15-year-old student followed him on Instagram in May 2017.

And both of them started exchanging messages on the platform.

So good so far, right?

However, things took a turn on Teacher’s day.

She sent a “Happy Teacher’s Day” message to him on IG on 31 Aug 2017. The male teacher replied flirtatiously, asking her to give him a whistle so he can “blow” it.

Teacher Manipulates Student’s Crush On Him

Now, if you’re a 15-year-old girl, you’ll be on top of the world because the man you’re crushing on is giving you his undivided attention.

But you’re uncomfortable with the huge age gap and decide to voice it out.

So she voiced out to him, but he assured her that he’ll keep their “relationship” on a “low profile” until she graduated from school.

Keeps On Pressuring Her Into Sex

The student finally agreed to be his girlfriend, but on one condition: He won’t push her on things that she wasn’t comfortable with doing.

The teacher, on the other hand, tried to make her promise to have sex with him when she reaches the age of 17 or 18 years old.

He continued molesting her and pestering her for sex the next couple of times they meet.

“You Deserve To Be Raped”

Eventually, they broke up in Oct 2017. The student was the one to bring it up.

The teacher, however, continued messaging her, even going as far as to suggest becoming friends with benefits.

He also became verbally abusive, telling the girl that she “deserves to be raped” when she stopped going out with him.

Those months must be hell.

Caught

The teacher’s manipulative actions finally came to light when the student’s mother saw the messages. She alerted the school and called the police.

The Ministry of Education said the teacher was suspended since 19 Nov 2017. They added that disciplinary actions will be taken against him.

On 23 Jan 2020, he was also sentenced to 17 months’ jail for his actions.
