The second half of October was certainly wetter than the first as we had more rainy days, but it was still hot on some days.
In fact, even though we had thundery showers on most days in the last two weeks of October, the daily maximum temperature exceeded 34°C on 17 days.
That’s Singapore for you.

It’d be a warm winter, sure, but that’s the best we’re going to get.
According to the Meteorological Service Singapore, thundery showers are forecast on most days in the afternoon, with the showers extending into the evening on a few of these days.
“On a few days, widespread moderate to heavy thundery showers are expected due to large-scale convergence of winds over Singapore and the surrounding region. In addition, the passage of Sumatra squalls could bring widespread thundery showers and gusty winds on a few mornings,” the weatherman said.
The total rainfall for the first half of November 2021 is also expected to be above average over most parts of the island, and you know what that means.

What? No. Cooler weather.
The daily temperature on most days in the first two weeks of the month is forecast to range between 24°C and 33°C.
While the daily maximum temperature could hit 34°C on some days, the wetter weather could also bring the daily minimum temperature down below 23°C on a few days.
