Do you know that right here in Singapore, we’ve broken the record for not having a single locally transmitted COVID-19 case since the outbreak began in January?
And the record is set to stay with today’s results.
Today (24 Nov), as of 12pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 18 new cases of COVID-19 infection.
All of them are imported, and 13 of them are foreign domestic workers.
This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 58,183. This is also the 14th day whereby there is no locally transmitted infection.
Based on yesterday’s number, the number of new cases in the community has remained extremely low, with no new cases in the past week.
66 Active Cases
58,071 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.
There are currently 36 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and 1 is in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
30 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.
28 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
