The Samsung Unpacked event happened yesterday, 26 July 2023, and it seems that Samsung is bringing its A-game to the event.

Missed out on the festive event?

Don’t worry because we’ve prepared a comprehensive list of the things unveiled at the event so you don’t have to spend an entire hour rewatching.

Galaxy Z Flip 5

The tagline for the Samsung event this time is “Join the Flip Side”, or at least, that’s what we saw the most during Samsung’s build up to the event launch.

So it’s no surprise that there are massive updates on the Galaxy Z Flip.

While rivals such the Oppo Find N2 Flip has challenged Samsung Flip models with a bigger external screen and a better fold experience, Samsung’s here to prove that it still has what it takes to reign in the flip smartphone arena.

The updated Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 comes with a larger external display (3.4″), which allows you to perform many functions without having to open your phone.

This includes replying to messages, use your wallet, and more.

Samsung has also incorporated a newer hinge design which will eliminate the gap when the phone is closed.

The external display can also be customised to your liking, showing off your style whenever you take out your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.

It’s not just the external; the processor is also a powerhouse, the custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, and the internal storage has been doubled.
