After more than a week into October, it seems like we’re indeed on track to Phase Three.
Today, as of 12 pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 9 new cases of COVID-19 infection.
This brings the total number of cases to 57,849.
Once again, there’s no community case today.
There are 5 imported cases, and they’ve all been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.
Based on yesterday’s numbers, on average, the number of new cases in the community has remained stable at an average of 1 case per day in the past 2 weeks. The number of unlinked cases in the community has also remained stable at an average of fewer than 1 case per day in the past 2 weeks.
No New Places Added to MOH List
Lest you’ve forgotten, there wasn’t any new community case in Singapore yesterday, which means the list of places that infectious COVID-19 didn’t have any update.
So far, there are currently 39 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and 1 is in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
150 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.
