For those of you who find it fun scaring people, here’s your chance to get paid for it.
SuperPark in Suntec City is hiring scare actors for this Halloween, where you can earn $1,500 for 11 days of scaring people.
Hiring Scare Actors
According to this posting on Fast Jobs, they are hiring actors for the SuperSpook 2 event, which takes place on 21 to 23 October, and 28 to 30 October.
This event is held at the largest all-in-one indoor activity park, which is the 40,000 square feet SuperPark in Suntec City.
The scare actors have five days of training on weekdays: 26 and 29 September, 3, 11, and 14 October. This means that you can earn $1,500 for a total of 11 days of work.
Job Responsibilities
Basically, you’re there to act and perform in houses and scare zones in the park, and safely scare guests while maintaining the atmosphere of the area.
You’ll need to wear and maintain costumes, stage makeup or prosthetics for an extended period of time, and be able to utilise assigned props.
Not only do you need to consistently perform the same scare repetitively throughout the event, but you also have to not break character for the entire shift.
Job Requirements
The perfect scare actor would be one that is able to work indoors in artificial lighting, including strobes, fog, haze, and other technical or special effects. One must also be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for long periods.
Additionally, you need to be comfortable wearing makeup for extended periods of time. You’ll also need to be willing and able to interact with guests, both individually and in large groups of all ages.
If you’re older than 18 years old and have a positive work attitude, feel free to apply by clicking this link. You’ll be prompted to provide information like your age, height, relevant experience, as well as full-length and portrait pictures of yourself.
You’ll also need to describe your most fun acting experience, and will probably need to attend an audition.
Hurry, as this job offer expires on 29 July!
