SMRT Bus Driver Allegedly Suddenly Turned Off Lights & Went Off to Pee for 15 Minutes in Creepy Area

We are in the middle of July—the seventh month in the Gregorian calendar.

Good thing that’s not the seventh month of the Lunar calendar (which is the month in which the annual Hungry Ghost Festival takes place).

That is, for one passenger left alone on a bus along a deserted road at night while the bus captain took a toilet break.

Here’s what happened.

Tiktoker Shares Video of Bus Captain Stopping Bus Along Lim Chu Kang Road

Do you fancy being left alone in a dark bus, in the dead of night, as the bus captain escapes to answer nature’s call?

There is a non-zero possibility that such a situation could happen to you when you least expect it.

In a TikTok video posted earlier this week by the user @ladiesman217.__, the OP (original poster) shares his encounter with exactly this scenario.

The short 20-second video begins with a quick pan around the empty bus. The video clearly shows that the lights have been turned off, and the bus doors are left open.

As the camera pans to the back of the bus, all the seats are empty, and no other passengers are around.

If you’re wondering where the bus captain is, the answer becomes apparent when the camera pans to the front of the bus.

A man clad in a bright orange safety vest can be seen walking on the road, away from the bus.

Presumably, that’s the bus captain rushing off to do what he needs to do.

Why did this happen?

The answer is apparent in the caption of the TikTok video posted by the OP. The OP says that the bus captain went to the toilet.

Perhaps the OP should have accompanied the bus captain to the toilet to avoid being left alone.

After all, he said it was “scary” being left alone in the bus after the bus driver “randomly” stopped the bus, got out and opened the doors to go.

Everything else in the bus was “turned off”.

We agree.

For those who are curious, this bus was bus number 975 along the Lim Chu Kang Road (aka near the Lim Chu Kang Cemetery).
