Last July, thousands of Taylor Swift fans queued up overnight at various SingPost outlets to be the first to procure tickets to the superstar’s show, due to be held in Singapore in the first week of March.
As Singapore is the star’s only stop in Southeast Asia, many fans from neighbouring countries even flew in to queue alongside Singaporeans.
It was a rather comical sight seeing people sleeping on and eating off the floor, refusing to leave their queue spots for nearly, or even over, 30 hours.
I myself queued for 27 hours and I must say, it really did feel like an actual war to get the highly coveted tickets.
If you were one of the unlucky fans who lost The Great War and were unable to procure tickets, you may have heard of The Errors Tour, Taylor Sheesh’s version of The Eras Tour.
The Errors Tour is set to be held in Singapore about a week after Taylor Swift’s concerts conclude, and tickets are nearly sold out.
If you’re also unable to go to The Errors Tour, fret not, because there’s still a way for you to be involved in the Taylor Swift festivities in Singapore.
From 28 February to 13 March, you can head down to Marina Bay Sands to enjoy a variety of entertainment related to the American pop-star.
The Eras Tour Retail Pop-Up
VIP ticket holders aren’t the only ones who will walk away with official concert merchandise.
From 29 February to 9 March, fans can head down to Sands Expo & Convention Centre to pick up official concert merchandise from T-shirts and hoodies to waterbottles and vinyls.
If you haven’t made friendship bracelets yet, you can also get them at this pop-up!
Admission is free but registration is strictly required to enter the venue. Each time-slot booking only permits up to two persons for entry into the venue, and children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

A curated Taylor Swift soundtrack will be playing at The Shoppes morning, afternoon, and night – yes, that’s right, it’s Taylor Swift all day every day.

The Eras Tour Light and Water Show
In the evenings, be prepared to be dazzled by a stunning spectacle of water and light.
The 14-minute outdoor show features dancing fountain jets, colourful visual projections, beaming lasers, and lava effects synchronised to iconic hits like Cruel Summer, You Belong With Me (Taylor’s Version), Shake It Off (Taylor’s Version), and Style (Taylor’s Version).
Admission is free for the public but registration is required to access the lower deck of the event plaza for the best view.
Access to the lower deck will open to ticket holders 30 minutes before each show commences. Pre-queueing and overnight queueing are not allowed.
Those without tickets can still view the show from along the Waterfront Promenade.
The light and water show will proceed rain or shine, and fans are advised to bring a poncho or raincoat in the event of rain (there is also a possibility of getting wet even if it’s not raining if there is strong wind).
In the event that the show is cancelled due to inclement weather, no replacement show
will be scheduled.
