4 S’porean Husbands Allegedly Worked Together To Rape Each Other’s Wives

We thought we’ve seen the worst when a guy blindfolded his girlfriend in BDSM roleplay and let another guy rape her.

But we thought wrong because another high-profile case has swept the nation.

4 S’porean Husbands Got Together To Rape Each Other’s Wives

Four men have been brought into a district court after they allegedly decided that it would be a great idea to work together to get their wives raped.

All four are Singaporean men who are 38, 41, 43 and 51 years old. We will call them A, B, C and D respectively.

They all face multiple rape charges.

Three other Singaporean men aged 34, 41 and 45 years old were also allegedly involved and are linked to the case.

They are also accused of rape.

What Happened

In total, all seven men allegedly committed the offences between 2010 and 2018.

They cannot be named because of gag orders imposed by the court in order to protect the women’s identities.

Court documents also did not mention which woman was married to which man.

In total, at least four women were the victims in this case and it is unknown what happened to the women before they were sexually assaulted.

However, the incidents occurred in various locations in Singapore, including Housing Board flats located in north-eastern Singapore.

Husband A

It all began back in 2010 when husband A allegedly conspired with the 43-year-old man, C to rape a woman who was then 29 years old.

Husband A, 38, is also accused of conspiring with the other two husbands, B and D around 2013 and 2014.

Court documents also revealed that husband A also committed rape between 2012 and 2018.

He faces seven charges, which is the most among all the men.

He is also accused of conspiring with husband A to commit a similar offence in 2013.

In 2014, husband B allegedly raped a 35-year-old woman.

Husband C

Husband C, 43, allegedly conspired with husband A to rape a 42-year-old woman in 2018.

Husband C is also allegedly raped a 38-year-old woman in 2010 and sexually penetrated a 29-year-old woman that same year.

Husband D

Husband D, 51, allegedly conspired with the 45-year-old man to rape a 44-year-old woman in 2017.

Husband D also allegedly raped a 32-year-old woman in 2013.

The seven men will return to court next month. All seven suspects have not been offered bail, according to Lianhe Wanbao.

Those convicted of rape can be jailed for up to 20 years and fined or caned. Those who are convicted but are aged over 50 years old cannot be caned due to their age.

Sexual Assault

Here’s a gentle reminder that sexual assault is never the victim’s fault.

According to Aware, sexual assault is never the fault of the victim, no matter what they were wearing, how they were behaving, how much they had to drink or their sexual history.

Victims of sexual assault may not always physically struggle due to shock, fear, or financial and/or emotional dependence on the attacker. Even if no extra force is used, or someone submits to an attack or a threat, there may not be consent.

It is still sexual assault, period.
