News of robbers has been hitting the internet recently.
And most of them have their priority right, by going for rolls of toilet paper and masks.
But not all of them are going for daily essentials.
Some, like these robbers, decide to go against the norm and rob a mall shop for jewellery instead.
And they regretted it immensely.
Series of Videos Showing Robbers’ Attempt To Rob A Shop And The Aftermath
Yesterday (22 Feb 2020), two robbers, armed with a hammer, attempted to rob a jewellery shop in a shopping mall in Bukit Tinggi, Klang.
Bystanders in the mall managed to record the confrontation on their phone.
In the video, a security guard could be seen pointing his gun at the shop.
Is that a scene from a Hong Kong drama or what?
However, he did not open fire and the robbers ran from the shop safely.
Voices urging the security guard to take cover could be heard in the video.
It was said that the guard did not fire because members of the public were present, and doing so might put their lives in danger.
But that doesn’t mean the robbers got away safely.
Members of Public Reportedly Stepped Forward To Stop Robbers
In the next video, cheers from watching members of the public could be heard.
The robbers were reportedly captured by the public before they can get away from the crime scene.
The video later captured one of the robbers lying on the ground, injured.
Remember what they say, crimes don’t pay.
