Natalie Siow is Now an Influencer & Will Let Someone Handle Her IG Account When She’s in Jail

Step aside Kim Kardashian, there’s a new influencer in town.

Okay, so she’s not in town per se, she’s actually in jail right now.

Natalie Siow, one of seven involved in the murder of 31-year-old Satheesh Noel Gobidass at Orchard Towers last year, has become rather popular in the last few days.

Siow was sentenced to five months’ jail on Friday (9 Oct) for a reduced charge of assault, but it’s not the verdict that has people talking.

That’s right, she gained nearly 500 followers on that fateful day.

Now, Siow has nearly 10,000 followers on Instagram.

In addition to running several small businesses, Siow sometimes advertises products on her Instagram account, including a bottle of body wash that she was sent.

It’s not easy to be an influencer in jail though, as you may or may not know.

That’s why her friends are now managing her account, as well as taking over operations of her business.

How nice of them?

Knife Attack at Orchard Tower’s

For those who don’t know, Siow shot to fame after reports emerged of a fatal knife attack at Orchard Towers.

A 34YO “old-virgin” S’porean was desperately looking for a boyfriend and surprisingly, she really found one online. But the intentions of the man will make you cry. Prepare tissue paper to watch this video based on real events:

On 2 July 2019, at around 6.30am, two groups of patrons were involved in a dispute at the entrance of Naughty Girl Club, resulting in a commotion.

A few people who were not in the dispute stepped in to intervene, including the club’s security officer, B. Barathkrishnan and the victim, Satheesh.

Satheesh confronted one of the men in the dispute, which then evolved into a fight. Satheesh ended up getting attacked with a knife and was killed as a result.

Video footage of the incident later made its way to the Internet:

Siow, just as the six other men involved in the incident, were initially charged with murder.

However, further investigations revealed that three of the accused -Siow, Joel Tan Yun Sheng, and Ang Da Yuan – did not use any weapons.

So, their murder charge was reduced to assault.

Some Love Her, Some Hate Her

As soon as pictures of Siow spread on social media, netizens became infatuated with her, disregarding her involvement in the murder.

Others have left not-so-nice messages on her account, including lewd comments.

Needless to say, no one should be absolved of their misdeeds just because they’re good looking.

But this is the internet, after all. What else did you expect?
