Some companies can be really demanding with their conditions in job listings. For instance, many companies will tell applicants that there are “no off days” and that they have to work a “six-day workweek”.
Other more heartless companies will list things like “applicants cannot nap” and “no Netflix during office hours”.
*sighs* Those monsters.
Nothing can beat this one email a Malaysian woman received for her job application, though.

Getting a job isn’t easy. So when this Malaysian woman received a response from one company regarding her application for a Personal Secretary’s position, she must have been pleased.
The email stated that the position has a basic income of RM5,000-RM7,000 (S$1600 – S$2300) with an allowance of RM500 (S$160) worth of allowance, which is not too shabby if you ask me.
But there was one problem; there was another condition the woman had to meet:
If you can’t read it, the email states “We have received your resume for (the job of) Personal Secretary. I would like to inform you that our Director is an open-minded person. He may casually touch you here and there. Are you okay to be his secretary? If you’re okay, I will process your resume further.”

Now, I’m as open-minded as they come, but I have no desire to molest women. Allow me to edit their email to make it more accurate:
We have received your resume for the job of Personal Secretary. I would like to inform you that our Director is a sexual predator without the ability to empathise. He may casually touch you here and there, because he’s a dick. Are you okay to work for a dishonourable pervert? If you’re okay with it, I will process your resume further.”
The person who shared the screenshot on Facebook, tagged Human Resources Minister, Kula Segaran and Deputy Minister of Women, Family & Community Development, Hannah Yeoh in the post, hoping that they would take action against the company and other companies like them in Malaysia.
Netizen response
Netizens, understandably, were outraged at the company’s condition.
Some called the company out on its “bullshit” phrasing.
Others believed the email was a fake.
Well, if it was real, I certainly hope the authorities will investigate the matter and find the company that sent this revolting email.
