Even though McDonald’s, every fast-food’s greatest rival, has disappeared temporarily from Singapore, it doesn’t mean other fast-food chains can afford to let down their guards.
And KFC is proving that theory right with their latest promotion.

But Take Note: You Might Need To Wait Longer
Previously, when McDonald’s first away, there was a domino effect immediately and KFC had to put out a public response to seek customers’ kind understanding.
Here’s the post lest you can’t read it (though you’re not missing anything):
Dear Guests,
We appreciate your support for KFC during this time. For your safety and that of our staff, please ensure you are masked up and keep a safe distance when you are in our restaurants.
Kindly note that starting from 20 April, all delivery and takeaway orders via online will be served Contactless to minimize contact.
At KFC, we take the safety of our guests and staff seriously. Our staff is required to take their temperature twice daily, clean and sanitize their hands frequently.
With the recent increase in demand for Takeaway and Delivery, we seek your understanding and patience as our team continues to do our best in serving you the yummy fried chicken we all love.
Thank you very much and let’s stay safe together.
Turns out, they might still be struggling under the sudden uptick in demand.
Well, you know what they say, right?
Good things are worth waiting for. Maybe.
