Everything About The Road Closure On 31 Dec 2019 So You Won’t Watch Fireworks From Your Car

Road closure. Okay, that was two words.

Firstly, I would not even recommend driving on New Years because of all the traffic jams, but if for some reason you still insist on doing, so here’s a warning:

Get ready for road closures that will be implemented in light of the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2020, from 31 December 2019 to 1 January 2020.

If you die die must drive your Ferrari, at least don’t drive it through town, because this area is where a lot of the road closures are concentrated at, since this is where the countdown events will be happening.

There are many roads that will be closed, but the ones you should be especially careful of is the FULL road closures.

Each of them is also closed at varied timings, so do take a look at the legend.

Here are the roads which will experience the ‘longest’ hours of road closure for your reference:

Full road closure from 4pm on 31 December 2019 to 5am on 1 January 2020

  • Part of Parliament Place & St Andrew’s Road
  • Connaught Drive
  • Fullerton Road (towards Connaught Drive)
