Ji Long Tang: Another Popular Taiwanese Brown Sugar BBT Store Opening Two Outlets In S’pore

With the huge variety of bubble tea shops opening in Singapore, it is no wonder that we are spoilt for choice when it comes to brown sugar milk tea.

Every mall you go, every alley you turn to, every MRT station you exit from is a bubble tea shop waiting for you.

By waiting for you, I mean tempting you to buy a cup of brown sugar milk tea to quench your thirst.

Yeah, I mean you weren’t thirsty until I mentioned brown sugar milk tea, am I right?

Right?

But before anything, do you know why bubble tea is addictive? Here’s why (subscribe to our YouTube channel so you’ll be smarter, pretty please?):

And moving on…

Ji Long Tang: Another Taiwanese Brown Sugar BBT Store

Long live the brown sugar milk tea craze, because another player is coming in to play with your feelings again. Introducing Taiwanese chain Ji Long Tang, which specialises in Okinawan brown sugar BBT.

It is pretty recognisable with its dragon motifs right smack in the middle of their cups, representing its Chinese name, “Lucky Dragon Hall”.

Even though it sounds similar to Xing Fu Tang, they are totally different chains.

The nearest Ji Long Tang outlet for Singaporeans is currently in Johor Bahru. It has a shop at JB’s “bubble tea central”, Mount Austin, next to Taiwanese variety show personality Yako Chan’s BBT shop, Don’t Yell At Me.

Ji Long Tang is also pretty popular in Taiwan, with long queues of customers going after their brown sugar BBT, such as its signature Brown Sugar Boba Thick Milk with cream.

Not to mention, its Dragon Oolong drink comes in a whisky flask-like glass bottle. Now, how cool is that?!

Give me ten of those, please.

Are you sold? Can’t wait to try it already? Here’s the good news. Ji Long Tang is opening two outlets in Singapore at around the same time.

One will be in Star Vista at Buona Vista, while the other will be at The Centrepoint on Orchard Road.

Both outlets are currently under renovation, and will most likely be ready around next year’s January. That’s just a month away, pals.

See you then!
