Lentor Mansion Reaches Astonishing 75% Sales on Launch Weekend

Business is booming for a newly-launched Condominium in the North-east side of Singapore. Lentor Mansion, the self dubbed, “luxury mansion” with a lavish exterior matching its similarly elegant name, marked its debut on March 15 and 16 as the “best performing new launch project,” in 2024.

The latest high-end residential development sold a staggering 75 percent of its 533 units over the weekend (that’s about 400 units if I’m calculating it correctly).

This information was released by the developer on 17 March, immediately making headlines for how impressively successful the launch was.

ccording to the Business Times, prices during the launch were reported to have ranged from S$1.149 million for a 527 sq (square feet) two-bedroom unit, to S$3.512 million for a 1,507 sq ft five-bedder flat.

Lentor Mansion?

What is Lentor Mansion you may ask? Lentor Mansion, by GuocoLand, is a new 99 years leasehold New Launch Condo located at Lentor Gardens in District 26. It is one of the few other Condominiums in the Lentor area; this includes Lentor Gardens, Lentor Hills Residences, and Lentoria.

Spanning across 235,731 square feet of land, Lentor Mansion follows the government’s vision for a sustainable future with its green-themed architecture; trees line the stone pavements, flora tracing every curve of the modern, sunlit walkways.

At night, when it is dark, white flowers sprout and shine with a dim glow (of course everyone knows it’s LED light, but the effect is still magical).

With 533 units and a tenure period of up to 99 years, this sprawling, green and modern palace is an incredible piece of modern architecture and artful engineering. Besides that though, what makes it so great?

Located by a long stretch right beside Lentor Hills Rd, this brand new Condominium boasts easy access to key waypoints like Lentor MRT, which would subsequently provide residents with convenient entry to the rest of the country.

And they’re not wrong; according to google maps, Lentor Mansions is a mere nine minute walk away from the nearest MRT.

Honestly, once you’re on an MRT, you can travel anywhere in Singapore. Almost all MRTs in Singapore now are air-conditioned, allowing a comfortable and convenient ride to your destination.

In fact, SMRT has also been implementing new measures to upgrade commuters’ level of comfort, one such example are the extra steps they took during Taylor Swift’s Eras tour concerts to ensure that commuters could swiftly (haha) and safely travel to their destinations.

Though for me, the most tiresome part about commuting is the long walk to the MRT station, which is something I would never need to go through again if I lived at Lentor Mansion.

Lentor MRT is located along the Thomson East-coast line, which connects commuters to popular destinations such as Woodlands, or the famous Orchard road. Neat.

Moreover, not too far away, CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls’ School stands proud and tall. Just one kilometer away, this school is a five minute car ride, a nineteen minute train ride and a seventeen minute walk away from Lentor Mansion, which is already shorter than most commutes to school.

Children of residents will be able to enjoy quality education right down the street.

Furthermore, while Lentor Mansion is an exemplary demonstration of how far modern architecture has come in Singapore’s urban space, the residents will still have easy access to nature. Lentor Mansion is strategically location near popular green spaces, such as the Bishan-Ang Mo Kio park and the Lower Peirce Thompson Reservoir Park.

Spanning across 235,731 square feet of land, Lentor Mansion follows the government’s vision for a sustainable future with its green-themed architecture.

Trees line the stone pavements, flora tracing every curve of the modern, sunlit walkways. At night, when it is dark, white flowers sprout from corners and crannies and shine with a dim glow (of course everyone knows they’re LED lights, but the effect is still magical).

It’s a green paradise in a green city.
