Do you have a badge? Can you put on your badge? Can you show me your badge?
Because if you can, you’ll be able to get 5% off your total bill at LiHO.
This truly goes to show that if you have a badge, you’ll be able to get others to do something after all.
LiHO Offers Discount For Customers Who Show Badge
On Tuesday (25 May), LiHO announced that they would be giving discounts to any customers who show a “badge” that represents themselves when ordering their drinks.
While this stunt takes a mere 5% off your total order, it’s an innovative and fun way for customers to get their drinks direct from their outlets in spite of the gloomy pandemic.
Looking at their Facebook post, LiHO doesn’t seem too strict in its requirements. Customers can show anything ranging from keychains, brooches, stickers or a homemade badge-like item to get the discount.
Well, it’s going to be no surprise when tons of school kids turn up after school to get their fix using their school badge.
The offer is currently ongoing till 13 June, so be sure not to miss it!
Referencing the Badge Lady incident at Marina Bay Sands (MBS), LiHO cheekily added that Safe Distancing Ambassadors will not have to worry about presenting a badge—their uniform is good enough.
But if you’re confused about all this badge nonsense, I don’t know where you’ve been in the last few days, but here’s what went down…
Maskless Lady Saga
On 15 May, 53-year-old Phoon Chiu Yoke was spotted maskless at MBS. Despite multiple requests by a very patient SDA, she still refused to wear her mask which she held tightly, albeit folded, in her hands as seen in the viral video captured by an eye-witness.
The woman is questioning the authority of the SDA and who she represents.
Although the SDA calmly replied that she works for MBS, she refused to believe her and kept asking for a “badge”.
“If you have no badge, why are you asking me to do something? Who are you representing?”
From two other videos that went viral alongside the one from MBS, the same woman can be seen shopping for groceries at Vivocity as well as trying to enter Clarke Quay Central while being maskless.
Since then, she had been charged and is now remanded in IMH.
