All good things eventually come to an end.
School holidays will finish, weekends are only two days and the sad drop of a bone once your chicken drumstick is finished.
Great tragedies indeed.
This is also a fact for food stalls sometimes.
Be it rental costs or lack of customers, not all of these stalls can last the test of time.
Unfortunately, today we are here to talk about one such stall.
HamBaoBao Packing Up
Press F to pay your respects.
HamBaoBao, meaning hamburger in Chinese, is a hawker stall at Beauty World Hawker Centre selling burgers with a twist.
Like burgers with crispy pork belly inside.
As in a Mothership article, their Facebook page has put up a rather heavy-hearted post recently.
I’ll sum it up for you in case the post doesn’t come up.
HamBaoBao will cease operations on 9 November after five years, with services still available for other events.
Only slightly over a week left before it closes, guys.
A great shame because this is one of the most affordable burger eateries I have ever seen outside of places like McDonald’s.
You can take a closer look at their menu below.
Five dollars and high-quality burgers? Sounds like a steal to me.
And if you aren’t convinced to go and give it a try, I have some sexy burger pictures for you to whet your appetite.
Look at how thick that patty is!
Look at it.
The amount of roast pork in that bun is ridiculous.
Did I mention that cheese on roast pork is also a mad genius’ idea.
I’m not even going to say anything but help me, this is making me unnecessarily hungry.
Rare for a fish burger to intrigue me so much.
Where Is It?
For the regulars, you already where to find the extraordinarily long queue in the middle of the Beauty World Hawker Centre.
