Yassss. The Ministry of Finance (MOF) announced that 1.7million Singaporeans will receive from a total of $1Billion in the form of GST Vouchers and Medisave top-ups.
But use a bit of common sense and you’ll realise that the gahmen isn’t gonna give us $1 billion each. Nope, they’re not even going to give us $6,500. Scratch that, we aren’t getting anything close to that amount from MOF and not even MOM.
No, not your mother. I’m talking about the FAKE WhatsApp messages that claim they’re from Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

Ah yes, the internet scammers strike again, and this time its a whole slew of fake WhatsApp messages that claim that workers who have worked between 1965 and 2019 will get $6,500 from the Ministry of Manpower.
And alongside all other things that sound too good to be true… it probably is.
The Ministry Of Manpower took to Facebook to inform the public about the fake messages.
