WRS Asks for Help As It Still Cost Money to Care for Animals; You Can Buy Advance Tickets or Donate Money

Animal lovers, zoo fanatics, listen up: the Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS) is now asking for support to keep their wildlife conservation efforts going.

Normally, the WRS supports its conservation efforts with admission tickets sales, donations and F&B sales within their premises.

But with the circuit breaker in effect and the closing of all their premises, they have taken a big hit.

Yet not opening doesn’t mean they’ll have zero costs.

About 15,000 animals still have to be cared for, an essential team still has to go on-site every day to ensure that they are fed and well-taken care of, and aircon for the penguins still has to be switched on.

Which is why they’re now asking for support.

How Can You Support Them?

They have three ways that kindhearted people to help:

Micro Sponsorship

Pledge your support online here and depending on how much you pledged, you can get different benefits.

Discount vouchers (from tier two onwards) can be used for the on-site purchase of admission tickets when the attractions reopen.

Each discount voucher has a validity of one year.

You can find out more here.

Any Good Day Tickets

It’s good to help others but you know what’s even better? To help others and see the results of your kindness.

If you’re into that, they also have the option of purchasing tickets for when attractions reopen.

And they’re throwing a “Don’t Say Bojio” together with the ticket sales too.
