Food delivery riders have been in the spotlight recently.
Some of them good while some are bad.
But there’s one thing that’s undeniable:
Food delivery riders’ hard work should definitely be appreciated since they’re getting food to us while we stay safe within our homes.
And Grab’s Giving You A Way To Do That
Grab has launched the new initiative #ForYourDeliveryPartner which started on 11 May 2020 and will end on 7 June 2020.
This initiative allows Grab customers to order a meal for their delivery riders without the need to make “special requests”.
This feature will be available when you order from one of the 14 halal-certified stores on the Grab App:
- Kaki Makan
- Antoheetos
- Tuk Tuk Cha
- Maki-San
- Pezzo
- Burger King
- Ayam Penyet President
- Crave
- Soup Spoon
- The Hand Burger
- Kaffe & Toast
- Simply Wrapp
- Saap Saap Thai
- The Soup Spoon Union

Show Your Appreciation & Help Out At The Same Time
Food delivery riders have come out to reveal that while the demand for food delivery has increased, their pay hasn’t.
In a previous article by TNP, it was found that 81% of food delivery riders actually earned lesser than before the CB kicked into play.
And most of them attributed it to the increased competition as more people who lost their jobs joined the trade.
The three major companies have rolled out a series of initiatives aimed at allowing their riders to earn more.
It seems like Grab’s now taking it a step further to rally the Grab users into helping out.
Would you buy a meal for your food delivery rider?
