Starlit Dragon Spectacular

Yet another dragon show is the Starlit Dragon Spectacular at Resorts World Sentosa.

Witness an 88m LED dancing dragon light up the night sky on 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, and 18 February.

The mesmerising starry dragon will put on a dazzling show at 7:30pm and 8:30pm, painting the sky all sorts of different colours.

The Chingay Parade returns this year on 23 and 24 February with “Blossom” as its theme, signifying the growth and flourishing of individuals and communities.

Located at the F1 Pit Building, this year’s parade showcases a 230m interactive floor projection – Singapore’s longest floor projection ever for a street parade.

From now till 25 February, the Wan Qing Festival Spring offers a day of family-friendly fun.

Where better to celebrate Chinese New Year than Chinatown?

With gorgeous dragons and decorations in every street and corner, this festive district is the perfect place for a walk.

The Festive Fair at Sago Street, Smith Street, Temple Street, Trengganu Street, and Pagoda Street is decked out in festive decorations like lanterns. Run to catch this cheery atmosphere as the fair will close on 9 February at 10pm.

After the fair has closed, enjoy the countdown party at Kreta Ayer Square to usher in good vibes and prosperity for the New Year.

The Gorgeous Street Light-Up at New Bridge Road, Eu Tong Sen Street, South Bridge Road, and Upper Cross Street will be up until 9 March.

Spring in the Sea at the S.E.A. Aquarium

This year, the S.E.A. Aquarium will be putting on impressive underwater dragon dance shows at the Open Ocean Habitat (daily at 3:30pm).

This mesmerising show is bound to take your breath away as you follow the underwater dragon on a journey to conquer all oceans.

Representing success and excellence, this underwater dragon dance is just the thing to welcome the New Year.

S.E.A. Aquarium will also be hiding easter eggs – auspicious CNY greetings – in their interactive displays of marine animals. Learn more about their four spotlight species’ characteristics and natural behaviours that make them especially significant this Year of the Dragon.

Their adorable manta mascot Manja will be waiting for you with open fins to snap some shots for your Instagram.

Not far from River Hongbao, you can visit Dahlia Dreams.

Gardens by the Bay’s annual CNY floral display features a near 7m-tall dragon that stretches over 15m in length as its centrepiece. Parts of the dragon’s scales are adorned with flowers in vivid hues of yellow and red.

Tickets for Singaporean residents to the Dahlia Dreams in Flower Dome are available at $12 for adults and $8 for seniors above 60 or children from three to 12 years old.

Non-Singaporean residents are also welcome to visit at $32 for adults or $18 for children from three to 12 years old.
