This afternoon, 300 staff members from DBS were made to vacate a floor in Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 3 after an employee was said to carry the COVID-19 virus.
And now, MOH has come out to confirm that case, together with two other confirmed cases.
3 New COVID-19 Cases in Singapore, Bringing Total to 50 Cases
The first patient is a 34-year-old Singaporean who had his first symptoms on 1 February 2020, and went to see a doctor four times before he was admitted to NCID on 10 February 2020. He was tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday afternoon.
The second patient is a 46-year-old Singaporean who got sick on 3 February 2020, and visited a GP on 8 February 2020, whereby he also went to the emergency department in NUH and discharged on the same day. Both the first and second patients work at a Church, the Grace Assembly of God, in the Tanglin and Bukit Batok branches, which is now a new cluster. Do note that this cluster is different from the other Church, the Life Church and Missions Singapore Church in Paya Lebar.
The last patient is the DBS employee that caused 300 DBS employees to vacate the entire 43rd storey of MBFC Tower 3 this afternoon. He is a 62-year-old Singaporean who was tested positive this morning.
All three patients have no recent travel history to China.
