Sure, the relatives and aunties at the New Year party may call you handsome. But will you ever be able to make it on TC Candler’s “100 Most Handsome Faces” List?
For Glenn Yong and Ayden Sng, being the only two Singaporeans to have ever made it on the big list has turned them into national treasures coveted by an army of loyal fans.
Even if you haven’t heard of the “100 Most Handsome Faces” List, you must have heard of big names such as Timothee Chalamet, Chris Hemsworth, Xiao Zhan and Jungkook who are also featured on the list. (Queue the screams of a thousand hardcore fans here)
Glenn Yong Secures A Place On the List For the Second Time
Local actor Glenn Yong, who’s made quite a name for himself starring in the Ah Girls Go Army series as Sergeant Chow, has acquired the lofty achievement for starring in the list not once but two times in a row.
In 2022, he debuted in 62nd place, the first Singaporean to ever do so.
This year, he’s in 75th place, beating the likes of Jason Derulo, Lionel Messi and Wang Yibo.
If there was really a sergeant in the army this handsome, I might consider the decision to sign on.
Ayden Sng Makes His Debut at 14th Place
Mediacorp Actor Ayden Sng also made a surprise appearance on the list, securing himself a jaw-dropping spot at 14th place.
Sng has managed to out-handsome the likes of Jungkook, Xiao Zhan and Harry Styles, who stand in 16th, 30th and 31st place respectively.
Sng has carved out his fame from acting in numerous television series and hosting several variety shows. But that’s not all, he also possesses various talents, such as playing the violin, piano and erhu, and having an IQ of 130.
For all the boys out there, beware, because Ayden Sng might be the new “cousin” your aunties will compare you to for the rest of eternity. (Extra points if you are actually his cousin)
As highlighted in last year’s article on the “100 Handsome Faces” List, one needs to be nominated by significant social media traction, via interacting with the nominee’s posts or giving them a Patreon community nomination.
While Steven Lim Korkor may have drawn some looks from his multitude of Facebook posts, he is nowhere to be seen on the list.
It’s ok tiger, maybe next time.
