A S’pore Pools Outlet Has Been Added to the List of Places Infectious COVID-19 Cases Have Been To

Every day, the Ministry of Health (MOH) doesn’t just come up with the new cases for the day, they also have a list of places infectious Covid-19 patients have visited that they update daily (or whenever there are new ones).

If you’ve been paying attention to the past few days, many, many places have been added to it.

And yesterday was no different.

On 15 Jul 2020, MOH added 6 new places to the list:

  • Tat Fong Paint at 492 Geylang Road [1 July 2020 between 9.30am and 10.10am]
  • Cheng Chew Wah Agency (Singapore Pools authorised retailer) at 20 Frankel Terrace [1 July 2020 between 5.10pm and 5.50pm]
  • All India Supermart at 41 Norris Road [5 July 2020 between 11.25am and 12pm]
  • Tekka Centre at 665 Buffalo Road [5 July 2020 between 12pm and 12.30pm / 8 July 2020 between 6pm and 7.30pm]
  • Apple Orchard Road at 270 Orchard Road [10 July 2020 between 3.50pm and 4.20pm]
  • Bugis+ mall at 201 Victoria Street on [11 July 2020 between 1.10pm and 1.40pm]

You can view the full list here.

MOH added that they have already identified and contacted close contacts of the confirmed-Covid-19 patients.

You don’t have to avoid these places too because the National Environment Agency (NEA) will engage with the operators of the identified places to thoroughly clean the area.

All you have to do is to check if you were at any of the places during the same timeframe.

And if you are, to monitor yourself for the next 14 days carefully. If there’s even the tiniest bit wrong, stay away from others and go see a doctor immediately.

If you’re above 13 years old, you’ll have to undergo a swab test to check for Covid-19, a process which doctors have said are uncomfortable but relatively painless.
