Limited-Edition KFC Potato Chips Now Available In S’pore at Golden Mile Supermarket

When asked about Thailand, what comes to mind?

Majestic architecture like The Grand Palace? Night markets with lots of delectable street food? The tropical haven that is Krabi Island?

Well, they are all wonderful.

But the first thing I think of is undoubtedly their trusty little convenience store 7-11 and all the amazing snacks I can get from there.

Lay’s KFC Potato Chips

Besides having an unshakable foothold on the altar of Bubble Tea gods, Thailand also seems to have a particular knack for manufacturing snacks that go viral.

This time, Lay’s teamed up with KFC to release this limited edition Lay’s KFC Potato Chips.

Adding to a long line of mouthwatering predecessors like Salted Egg, Green Curry and Crab Curry are two new flavours: KFC Original Recipe Chicken and the spicy Wingz Zabb.

Supposedly, Original Recipe Chicken tastes just like their signature fried chicken. Rumour has it, KFC’s eleven secret herbs and spices went into its recipe too.

On the other hand, Wingz Zabb is a local favourite that is spicy and citrusy.

Exclusive to Thailand

Launched on 18 August 2020, these chips were exclusive to 7-11 in Thailand.

Now, before you add “unable to go to Thailand for the KFC chips” to the long list of Covid-19 faults, note the past tense. They were.

Delight in knowing that Golden Mile Complex’s Thai Supermarket have decided to fly them in for our convenience!

Thanks to them, you will be able to get your hands on these crunchy crisps from 14 Sept onwards.

Pre-Order the Snacks NOW

Knowing our propensity to chase the trends, and taking into account the fact that stock is already low in Thailand – it’s going to be a bloody race to get a taste.

So, pre-ordering the snack is absolutely necessary.

Both flavours come in a petite size of 48 grams – meaning high chance you’ll accidentally exhaust your supply in one seating. Suddenly, buying by the dozens to get free delivery doesn’t sound so crazy.

Additionally, Wingz Zabb has a larger 73-gram bag, which is only available through Thai Supermarket’s pre-order site.

Plus, you stand a chance to win a KFC two-piece chicken meal voucher when you purchase online. All the more reason!

As of writing, the 48g Original Recipe and the 73g Wingz Zabb are already sold out. I’m sure we will burn through the remaining 48g Wingz Zabb in no time as well.

A 34YO “old-virgin” S’porean was desperately looking for a boyfriend and surprisingly, she really found one online. But the intentions of the man will make you cry. Prepare tissue paper to watch this video based on real events:
